Incentive in winter in Poland is a great idea. Especially if you like winter sports or would like to start an adventure with them. The Polish terrain – numerous mountains and hills – create perfect conditions for practicing winter sports, an additional advantage is the increasingly better infrastructure of winter sports facilities, a very good hotel offer, delicious cuisine and a variety of additional attractions.
The sport centers offer the possibility of snowboarding, downhill skiing, cross-country and trail skiing. There are ice rinks in many places, including open air ones. In the evenings, sleigh rides are popular type of entertainment, very often ending with sausages, tasting mulled wine or just relaxing in the sauna. Recently, sea swimming, i.e. winter bathing in lakes or the sea, has become very popular in Poland.
The most interesting directions for an incentive trip in winter are of course the Tatra Mountains – Zakopane and its surroundings with well prepared hotel base with conference facilities. It is also worth going to the Karkonosze. Cities such as Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba, Świeradów Zdrój have an offer of hotels prepared to host groups and organize conferences. We also recommend the Beskidy, especially areas of the Silesian and Żywiec Beskidy and the Bieszczady Mountains.
It is not unusual to enjoy bonfire in the middle of the hills covered in white snow whilst hot sausage is served and you get there on special sledge pulled by horses ( so called “ kulig”which translates into sleigh ride) wrapped up in a warm blanket.
